New Lenox Home Burglarized, Safe Stolen: NLPD
The break-in happened Saturday between 8 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
NEW LENOX, IL — A New Lenox home was burglarized in broad daylight Saturday, New Lenox police said Monday.
Police were called Saturday afternoon to the 400 block of Rossford Lane, for a report of a residential burglary. A homeowner told police that some time between 8 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., someone broke into their home through the front door, and took a safe from inside.
The safe held cash, jewelry, and personal documents valued at approximately $6,500, according to police reports.
