NEW LENOX, IL — New Lenox officials have set the date for a beloved town tradition.

The New Lenox Loyalty Day Parade is planned for Sunday, May 4. Now in its 45th year, the parade will kick off at 2 p.m. Due to the roundabout construction at Cedar and Haven, the parade route has been changed this year. It will now kick-off at the intersection of Cedar and Joliet Hwy, head west on Joliet Hwy to Gear Drive and then turn north, all the way to its end in the New Lenox Village Commons.

Loyalty Day is a holiday that takes place annually on May 1 and is a day reserved for showing our loyalty to our country and recognizing the heritage of American freedom.
