In a motion to deny pretrial release, the Will County State's Attorney argued that Scott poses a flight risk, and is a danger to the community. The incident, the State's Attorney's Office said, occurred with children aged 2 and 4 years old present at the home.
The Will County Sheriff's website lists the charges as misdemeanors; the motion to deny pretrial release notes that Scott is charged with a felony.
