New Lenox Man Charged With Possession Of Child Pornography
New Lenox police arrested the man Thursday after an investigation that started in October.

NEW LENOX, IL — A New Lenox man has been arrested and charged with possession of child pornography, the New Lenox Police Department announced Thursday.
Alex M. Plane, 23, was charged Thursday after an investigation that started in October, according to police. The New Lenox Police Department Investigations Unit received information that Plane was downloading and sharing child pornography on a mobile app, police said.
Police got a search warrant for Plane's residence, and with the Will County State’s Attorney’s High Technology Computer Crimes Unit took Plane's electronic devices, which contained evidence of the child pornography, police said.

Plane was charged with one count of Class 2 felony possession of child pornography. The investigation is ongoing and more charges may be pending, police said.
Plane was taken to the Will County Adult Detention Facility, police said. Plane is scheduled for a bond hearing Friday.
