New Lenox Movie Nights Free Screening Of 'Cars' Wednesday Night
The movie will be preceded by a performance by the New Lenox Community Band at 7:30 p.m.
NEW LENOX, IL — New Lenox residents are invited to a free showing of the movie "Cars" at approximately 8:30 p.m. Aug. 4 at The Village Commons, 101 Veterans Parkway. The movie will be preceded by a performance by the New Lenox Community Band at 7:30 p.m.
This will be the second-to-last free Movie Night in the Village Commons; the final Movie Night is scheduled for Aug. 11 and will feature the movie "Tom & Jerry." That movie will be sponsored by New Lenox School District 122 PTO, with activities beginning at 5 p.m.
Street parking will be available surrounding the Village Commons, according to the Village of New Lenox website. Additional parking will be available in the south lot of the Village Hall and at Trinity Services, 301 Veterans Parkway. Parking will be available after 5 p.m. at Old Plank Trail Community Bank, 280 Veterans Parkway, and at the New Lenox Public Library, 120 Veterans Parkway, after 8 p.m.

Food and non-alcoholic drinks will be available at the concession stand. Pets are not permitted.
