New Lenox Woman, 80, Dies After Sunday Crash: Coroner
A driver who died after a crash at Route 30 and Cooper Road Sunday night has been identified.
NEW LENOX, IL — A driver who died following a crash in New Lenox Sunday night has been identified as an 80-year-old New Lenox woman.
Two drivers were injured in the two-car crash at Route 30 and Cooper Road just after 8 p.m. Sunday. Both were taken to Silver Cross Hospital, where June J. Sullivan was pronounced dead just before 9 p.m., the Will County Coroner’s Office said.
The accident is under investigation by a team of New Lenox police and other local departments, New Lenox Police Chief Louis Alessandrini said Sunday night.
