New Lenox's Victory Baptist Hosts Patriotic Program
Frankfort's Heritage Baptist Church brass ensemble is joining in the festivities, Sun-Times Media reports.
The congregation at Victory Baptist Church is planning a patriotic performance with sing-along opportunities too.
"We Love America" is a free, all ages performance to celebrate this country's freedom, while also recognizing the sacrifice of United States veterans. Musical favorites planned include "The Star-Spangled Banner," "America the Beautiful" and "My Country 'Tis of Thee."
The performance is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. at Victory Baptist Church, 112 Church St. The congregation's own choir and cantata will be featured, and the brass ensemble from neighboring Heritage Baptist Church in Frankfort is joining in.

Pastor James Loller said, "We want to emphasize the good things God has done for our country and to give Him thanks and blessings for the national freedom we enjoy," Sun-times Media reports.
