Rebel Yell: Billy Idol Comes To New Lenox Saturday

The concert is the last of the Triple Play Concert Series for 2021.

NEW LENOX, IL — The Village of New Lenox Triple Play Concert Series for 2021 wraps up Saturday with '80's superstar Billy Idol scheduled to rock the stage at The Village Commons, 101 Veterans Parkway in New Lenox.

Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. Blender 7 will open at 6 p.m., followed by The Foxies at 7 p.m. and Idol is scheduled to start at 9 p.m.

The iconic rocker is known for such hits as "Rebel Yell," "Dancing With Myself," and, of course, "White Wedding."

Parking for the concert is limited to: Village Hall south lot, 1 Veterans Parkway; the New Lenox Public Library, 120 Veterans Parkway; and Trinity Services, 301 Veterans Parkway. Additional free parking is available for each concert at a remote lot at the Route 30 Metra station, 202 N. Prairie Road, with access to the venue via a free shuttle service that runs continuously throughout the event. Masks are required for all people on the shuttle bus.

Prohibited items for the concert include video/audio recording devices, professional cameras and cameras with detachable lenses, pets (excluding service animals), outside food or beverages, and umbrellas.

Food and beverages — including beer, hard seltzer and hard lemonade — will be available for sale in the venue. Drink tickets, which will be available for sale on site for $5, must be used for all alcohol purchases. Drink ticket sales are cash only, and there will be an ATM available in the venue.
