Rosati's To Open New Dining Room Monday
The New Lenox Chamber of Commerce is scheduled to hold a ribbon cutting at 11 a.m. Monday to honor the occasion.
NEW LENOX, IL — The New Lenox Rosati's Pizza location is getting a long awaited for upgrade Monday: the addition of a dining room for patrons to enjoy the food and the drink.
The New Lenox Chamber of Commerce is scheduled to hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. Monday at Rosati's, 108 W. Illinois Highway.
Shawna Casey, who has owned the Rosati's Pizza location in New Lenox for the past nine years, said Monday's dining room grand opening is long overdue. Until Monday, the New Lenox Rosati's had been pick up and take out only.

"I'm very excited to have the community come out and check out the place because I've put so much hard work and dedication into it," Casey said.
Casey said that while the pandemic was devastating in most every way possible, the uptick in delivery and take-out orders for Rosati's allowed for the expansion of the dining room to happen.

"My dream is finally here," she said.
Roasti's menu will include some updates to go along with the new dining room, Casey said. New on the menu will be a fresh-baked chocolate cookie with ice cream and chocolate swirls dessert, and a full bar will be available for patrons who want an adult beverage to go along with their meals, Casey said.
"I really would like the restaurant to be a family-friendly environment. I'm headed towards a restaurant that serves alcohol, not the bar that serves food," Casey said.
