Police threw the book of citations at a Mokena man
Lucas Kaiser, 32, Mokena, was stopped in his car at Laraway and Scheer Roads when he reportedly seen improperly passing. Police said he had been drinking and further ticketed him for DUI, improper lane use failure to use a turn signal and improper lane use. He posted bond.

Burned out headlight attracts attention
Manny Longino, 27, Joliet, was stopped in his car at Interstate 80 and Route 30 when police noticed he had one headlight out. A computer check revealed that he was driving on a suspended license.

Chisaa Robbins, 31, Rockdale, was stopped at Route 30 and Spencer Road for talking on the cell phone while in a construction zone. A computer by police revealed that she was also driving on a suspended license. She was ticketed and released.

Driving on a suspended license
Timothy Goodman, 19, of the 200 block of Hancock Drive, was stopped at Laraway Road and Calistoga Street after a random registration check by police. He was cited for driving on a suspended license.
Purse stolen in car burglary
A woman told police that while her car was parked in a lot in the 1800 block of Route 30, burglars broke the window and snatched her purse. Police are investigating the incident.
