Village Shares Update On Metra Station Construction

Press release from the Village of New Lenox:

The contractor is working on construction within the new building area. Parking is this construction area is prohibited.

Access to the train platform is restricted, pedestrians will need to access the new portion of the platform along the west side of the construction area for the new METRA station.

Train riders will be able to park in the middle and east lots that have been recently resurfaced, and access the train platform via the new sidewalk installed along the west side of the building construction area.
