Woman Threw Urine, Uttered Racial Slurs At Hospital Staff: NLPD
A Romeoville woman faces hate crime and battery charges after the Nov. 27 incident at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.

NEW LENOX, IL — A Romeoville woman faces battery and hate crime charges after an encounter with medical staff at Silver Cross Hospital.
Police were called to the hospital Nov. 27 for a report of aggravated battery. Police learned that a woman had thrown urine on an emergency medical staff member, New Lenox Police said.
Lindsey Feigl, 34, of the 100 block of Azalea Court in Romeoville, is also accused of uttering racial slurs at the victim during the incident, according to police reports.

Based on Feigl's statements and actions during the battery, police determined she had targeted the victim based on their race, police said.
The victim was not injured and did not require medical attention.

Feigl was taken to the New Lenox police department after she was released from the hospital. She was later taken to the Will County Adult Detention Facility. She was scheduled to appear in court Nov. 30, according to jail records.
