1,500 Without Power in Skokie After Car Crash

Early this morning a car crashed into two utility poles leaving many without electricity.

About 1,500 were left without power this morning in Skokie after a car crashed into two utility poles, as reported by the Chicago Tribune.

The poles were snapped in half from the impact, which happened near Hamlin Avenue and Harvard Terrace at about 5 a.m., ComEd spokeswoman Martha Swaney told the Chicago Tribune.

There was no estimate on when power would be restored.
