D219 Dance Marathon Sees Lower Fundraising

The District 219 Dance Marathon had a successful year, despite not reaching fundraising amounts from 2012, Niles West News reports.   

The student-run organization raised $83,184.75 for Rustic Falls Nature Camp.  The newspaper credits losing a day at the Backlot Bash for the lower amount raised. Dance Marathon 2014 will fundraise for Croso, a non-profit organization providing education to communities in Uganda.
