Why Go: Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. This year why not create unique, handmade cards for free? Stop by the  Card-Making Extravaganza! No experience is necessary and all ages are welcome. Assistance, instruction and supplies will be provided. The hardest part will be deciding which cards to make!

Why Go: More than 80 junior high and high school bands will be performing and competing throughout the day. The United States Marine Corps All-Star Jazz Band will perform a set at lunch and The DePaul Jazz Ensemble, the featured guest ensemble, will perform in the evening in the Watson Auditorium.

Why Go: In this one-woman show about ethnicity, gender and religious tolerance, critically acclaimed actress/playwright Rohina Malik reveals the lives of five women in the U. S. who wear the veil.  With humor and splendid insight, she portrays a Pakistani dressmaker on Chicago’s Devon Avenue, a Moroccan American lawyer, an African American revert, a South Asian rapper and a Middle Eastern restaurant owner.
