Why Go: Presentation at the Morton Grove Historical Museumโ€™s Education Center on the history of the early settlement of Niles Township. Following an introduction to the founding families and congregations in this area, we will travel to St. Matthewโ€™s Lutheran Cemetery, located on Shermer Avenue just south of Dempster Street in Niles. ย Dan Wilken, Cemetery Caretaker and Local Historian will lead us on a fascinating tour of the cemetery grounds.

Why Go: A fun and lively afternoon is planned with professional dancers to entertain everyone. We will have several exciting raffles with something for everyone. Come join us for a fun day. Why Go: Bring the whole family to enjoy a relaxing night around the bonfire. Listen to stories, sing songs, and make sโ€™mores or take a walk around the pond.

Notre Dame College Prep Open House
When/Where: Sunday, Oct. 16 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., 7655 W. Dempster, Niles.
Why Go: If youโ€™re thinking about sending your son to Notre Dame for high school, you can get a personal tour from a current student.
