Grandpa Suing Teenage Grandson For Allegedly Running Down Grandma: Report

NILES, IL — A grandfather has reportedly filed a wrongful death against his grandson for allegedly running down his grandmother.

In March, the grandmother, 79-year-old Kuem Soon Choo, gave her 13-year-old grandson the keys to her minivan so he could help her put it in gear, according to CBS News.

“The grandson shifted the vehicle in reverse and his foot accidentally hit the gas pedal instead of the brake, police said,” CBS reported. “Cho was walking up to open the driver’s side door at the time and was struck by the minivan."
