Man Slugged In Bar Fight, Police Say
Also, a man was charged with felony DUI. An arrest is merely an accusation, not evidence of a conviction.

A 34-year-old Miami Beach man was sitting in a sports bar in the 6900 block of Milwaukee Avenue just before 1 a.m. May 26, at a table with friends and other people they knew. According to the report, a man whom he had met only on a first-name basis struck him in the face for no reason. The blow broke his glasses and caused a slight laceration on his nose.
The offender left the bar and headed toward Ebinger Street. Police checked the area and did not find him, they said. The bar management said they did not have video surveillance in the area in which the battery occurred.  No one at the victim's table was able to or willing to provide any information about the offender.Â
The victim said he would try to find out more from the people at the table and relay it to police. He declined medical attention; police made a report and furnished it to the Niles Liquor Commission.
