Metra trains on the Union Pacific Northwest line, which runs through Park Ridge, Des Plaines and Arlington Heights, have been halted due to severe weather.
However, chicago.cbslocal.com reported moments ago that one train had just left Ogilvie Transportation Center in downtown Chicago, and others may be following.
