Morton Grove Farmer's Market Springs Forward

The opening market for the spring took place May 11; the season gets underway in earnest on Saturday June 8, and will run through October.

As you're reading this, plants are growing just a little bit bigger to provide the veggies and fruits you'll find for sale at the Morton Grove Farmer's Market.

The spring market was held May 11, with many flowers, food products and handcrafted items for sale, though not any vegetables yet.

When the summer market season begins June 8, there should be an abundance of lettuces and early crops on the display tables. The market will continue through October, only closing on July 6 for the four-day Independence Day weekend.
