Want to put your green thumb to work for a good cause? Consider adopting a planter in Morton Grove.

MORTON GROVE, IL - The Morton Grove Community Relations Commission is inviting all residents and businesses to participate in its 2017 Adopt A Planter Program.
Individuals, families, organizations, businesses and other groups may sign up to “adopt” one of the large village planters located at the train station and, civic center, or well as those along Dempster Street from Central to Lehigh avenues, and on Waukegan Road. Business owners have priority in adopting planters closest to their stores or offices.
Each participant will receive a starter kit that includes approved plants, a name card and a list of items which may be added to customize their planters. Planting day is set for June 3.
