Niles Village Trustees Reject Proposed Car Wash Application

Residents fear the proposed car wash would contribute to more congested traffic.

Niles village trustees rejected an application for a special use permit to operate a car wash at 9201 N. Milwaukee Ave. across from Golf Mill Shopping Center.

Residents of the area opposed the proposed car wash as it would contribute to more congested traffic, noise and lights in the area, at the Tuesday, Aug. 23 village board meeting, according to Journal & Topics.
