Babysitter Charged With Infant Battery
A 19-year-old was arrested after an infant she was looking after sustained head injuries.

Tamara L. Nelson, 19, of Northbrook, was arrested forย aggravated battery of a child byย Mount Prospect police after the mother of an infant Nelson was taking care of found head injuries on the child, according to theย Chicago Tribune.ย
Nelson's bond was set at $20,000 and she is scheduled to appear in Rolling Meadows court on January 17 at 10:30 a.m., theย Journal & Topicsย reports.
Theย Department of Child and Family Services was informed of the incident and has begun their own investigation,ย CBS Chicagoย reports.
