Overcast skies and a little bit of rain didn't stop the students and teachers of Park View Elementary School from celebrating American pride. Yesterday morning a few hundred children gathered outside of the school to join representatives from the Morton Grove Fire and Police Departments in raising the American flag. The school band also performed the national anthem for students, parents and spectators. Enjoy these photos from Friday's event.
