Race to the Taste 5K Run

There is still time to register for the Race to the Taste 5K Run on Saturday, Oct. 1 at Prairie View Park, located at 6834 Dempster St., Morton Grove. The USATF certified 5K course is open to all ages and there are awards for 1st through 3rd place finishers in each group.

All participants will receive a race bib with timing chip, entry to post race refreshments and more. The race will have a German style flair with samplings of food and beer. All race participants 21 and over will have the opportunity to enjoy free beer sampling after the race. You must bring a photo ID in order to receive a wristband for sampling.

Register in person at Morton Grove Park District on Wednesday, Sept. 28 from 2 p.m. - 8 p.m. and Thursday, Sept. 29 from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. Pre-registration officially closes at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 29. Race Day fee will be $40 (check or cash only).

Pre-registered packet pick-up and walk in registration will take place at Prairie View Community Center, 6834 Dempster St. on Wednesday, Sept. 28 from 2 p.m. - 8 p.m. and Thursday, Sept. 29 from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.
