Here's what's happening Today In Niles and Morton Grove for Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013.
- Do you love trees? The Niles Environmental Practices committee meets at 6:15 p.m. to work on crafting a tree ordinance.
- The Niles Park District swings into the fall season. Preschool began this week, Hockey Fall Season Registration runs now through Oct. 6, and Iceland Fall registration has begun.
- Rosh Hashana starts at sunset and will be observed at Chabad and F.R.E.E. of Niles, among other places.
- Looking ahead: Niles Township High School District 219 schools (Niles North and Niles West) have a day off Thursday for Rosh Hashana.
