Suburbs Feel Small Earthquake
A 2.4 magnitude quake shook some homes and businesses last night.
An earthquake shook the Illinois-Wisconsin border last night, according to the United States Geological Survey.Â
Homes and businesses in Chicago's northern suburbs felt the small 2.4 magnitude earthquake after it hit at 9:54 p.m Monday, as reported by WGN.
Its epicenter was about 11 miles west of Kenosha, Wis. and 14 miles northwest of Waukegan, according to the USGS.

A few local news outlets broke the news via Twitter.
"Quake occured 6.2 miles below the surface near the IL/WI line and most reports into us have come from the northern suburbs," WGN meteorologist Tom Skilling tweeted last night.Â
