Top 5 Stories of 2011: Number 1

As 2011 wraps up, we thought we'd take a look back at the year that was in Morton Grove. After looking closely at some of the biggest and most talked about stories, we narrowed down our list to the top five.

Our most popular story from 2011 focused on widespread power outages throughout the area after some dramatic summer storms.

If you're a fan of thunderstorms, 2011 was a good year for you. Morton Grove experienced some doozies, along with the resulting high winds, power outages and general damage. This summer more than 615,000 were left without power throughout the northern suburbs.
