We are counting down the most popular stories from Morton Grove in 2011.

As 2011 wraps up, we thought we'd take a look back at the year that was in Morton Grove. After looking closely at some of the biggest and most talked about stories, we narrowed down our list to the top five. 

We'll post a new story everyday until Jan. 1 and count down to the most popular article of the year.

In March, almost 300 students gathered outside of  to protest Wisconsin's anti-union legislation. Hundreds of students lined up in front of Oakton Street and held signs that read, "Union Rights = Human Rights" and "Care about our teachers like you care about your kids."
