Evanston Women Arrested For Retail Theft Scheme In Northbrook

The following reports were provided by the Northbrook Police Department. Arrests and charges are accusations, and do not indicate guilt.

Retail Theft

On Feb. 24, responding officers were dispatched to Macy's where two employees were being held for retail theft, according to police. 

Evanston's Felicia Llorens, 53, and Courtney Llorens, 22, were charged with theft when the defendants were caught on video running return transactions totaling $124.37 onto Felicia's gift card without making actual returns, police say.

Domestic Disturbance

On Feb. 24, Michael Agins, 26, of Northbrook, was involved in a domestic disturbance and left the residence, according to police. He was stopped by police and during the stop, officers found cannabis and drug paraphernalia in his vehicle, according to police. Agins was arrested, charged with possession of cannabis and paraphernalia, then released on bond, police say.

Vehicular Theft

On Feb. 25, someone reported four drills and three saws were removed from a truck on the 3100 block of MacArthur Blvd., according to police.

Between Feb. 22 and 27, someone forced entry and removed eight to ten power tools from a Prestige Designs van parked on the 3000 block of Commercial Ave.

On March 1, someone on the 700 block of Greenwood Rd. discovered the front, right passenger door of his car was standing open, his wallet and cash were reported missing, according to police.
