Fire Department Responds To Rollover Accident

The following report was part of a Village of Northbrook memo.

On Tuesday, Feb. 26, at about 10:30 a.m., the Northbrook Fire Department responded to a rollover accident in the parking lot of the Jewel near Lake Cook and Waukegan roads.

The driver of a car lost control, crossed a median and drove over an unoccupied car before rolling over and landing on its roof. The driver was still in the car when the fire department arrived. The driver was removed from the car uninjured and denied transportation to the hospital. 

Deerfield’s ambulance happened to be in the area and assisted Northbrook's first responders, and Deerfield police are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
