Chicago Botanic Garden
The Latin jazz band Grupo Cha Cha plays from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. as part of the garden's Hot Summer Nights concert series.
Kohl Children's Museum
Today's exhibits include:
- Garden Buddies: I Spy an Insect Gardner Barb is looking for insects. Join her at our garden boxes in Habitat Park to learn about why insects are so important to us and to plants.
- Hoopster Which way will the hula hoop roll? Navigate a hula hoop through an obstacle course in Habitat Park.
- Tree Extravaganza It's time to go on a scavenger hunt! Use leaf guide cards to investigate and compare the many trees of Habitat Park.
- Will it Sink or Float? Do you know what is inside of a golf ball? Explore and examine the inside and outside of balls and conduct a sink and float experiment.
