Northbrook Days Starts Tonight

It's finally here! The annual carnival organized by the Northbrook Civic Foundation starts at 6:00 p.m. at the Village Green and lasts until Sunday night.

The library's classic film series continues with One From the Heart — Francis Ford Coppola's Broadway-like romantic musical, nominated for an Academy Award for Best Music, which was strikingly performed by Tom Waits and Crystal Gayle.

Soccer and Flag Football Early Fee Deadline
July 31 is the early fee deadline for Youth Soccer and Flag Football Leagues. Practice begins the last week of August, and games start the weekend of September 7. Teams are formed by grade, school and gender and play seven games, weather permitting, with an emphasis on learning skills, sportsmanship and respect.
