Northbrook Days Starts Wednesday

Northbrook Days
The annual Northbrook Civic Foundation summer carnival starts Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at the Village Green. The carnival will run through Sunday.
Northbrook Public Library
On Tuesday, the library will host an event called Chopin and the Paris Music Salon with Northbrook Symphony lecturer Jim Kendros. Guests will explore many of Chopin's best works through recordings by great Chopin performers. Kendros will then perform his original piano works, inspired by the Romantic Era of the 19th century.
On Wednesday, the library's classic film series continues with One From the Heart — Francis Ford Coppola's Broadway-like romantic musical, nominated for an Academy Award for Best Music, which was strikingly performed by Tom Waits and Crystal Gayle.
