The Rotary Club of Northbrook invites all to join the excitement at Village Green Park on Monday, July 4th at 7-9 am for the long-awaited return to the Annual Pancake Breakfast which kicks off Rubber Ducky Race season.

Join us for a pancake breakfast in the park right after the Liberty Loop & Lap! Kids (under age 4) meals are only $5 (pancake, sausage, drink); Adults are $10 (3 pancakes, 3 sausages, drink) Cash only please.

You could Win $1,000 !

Sponsor a Quack-Pack of 5 Ducky’s for $25; one “Lucky Duck” is $10 or $100 for a flock of 15 chances to win $1000, $500, $250 in cash prizes.

Tickets are being sold at the breakfast by Rotary members or you can buy them online using the link on the club website at www.northbrookrotary.org.

Rotarians will be selling tickets throughout town at Waterway Carwash; Dairy Queen; North Suburban YMCA; Sunset Foods; Northbrook Chamber office in the Civic Building or online prior to the event.

In addition to providing an annual family fun tradition, the yearly Rubber Ducky Race being held on July 12th is one of the fundraisers that supports local grants! This is an opportunity to teach children about being good citizens and how a small donation can have a big impact. Plus they get to see the ducks race!

Grants ranging from $500 to $2,500 – totaling about $42,000 - were awarded previously to a number of local non-profit organizations including: Youth Services of Glenview/Northbrook; The Northfield Township Food Pantry; Hunger Resource Network; Outreach/Feed 6; Cancer Wellness Center; Friendship Circle Of Illinois; North Suburban YMCA; Keshet; Rainbow Hospice and Palliative Care; Northbrook Symphony Orchestra; Josselyn Center; Northbrook Historical Society; Special Gifts Theater; Total Link 2 Community; Glenbrook North High School Grad Night; Center For Enriched Living; Center On Deafness; Northbrook Community Nursery School; Family Promise Chicago; Gratitude Generation; Community Vocational Scholarships.
