Village Makes Plans For Veterans Day In Northbrook
A virtual service will be offered Nov. 11 to honor military members.
Veterans Day is a time to thank and honor all those who served in the military, both in wartime and peacetime. Remember our Veterans, as well as those currently serving, at this virtual Veterans Day Service on Wednesday, November 11, 11am. The American Legion Post #791 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars invite all to watch the virtual service to honor those who served the armed forces: Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard.
In lieu of an in-person service, a virtual ceremony will be streamed on Wednesday, November 11 at 11am.

To help veterans in need, consider donating toiletries and paper goods. Items can be dropped off at the American Legion Post #791, 1354 Shermer Road, on Tuesdays (through December 15) from noon-6pm.
