Village Of Northbrook: Pavement Rehabilitation Projects Underway
The work is expected to conclude in the fall, according to Village officials.
The Cook County Department of Transportation & Highways will begin pavement rehabilitation projects on Sunset Ridge, Walters, and Landwehr Roads in spring 2025.Improvements include: ✔ Milling & resurfacing asphalt pavement ✔ Sidewalk ramp upgrades for ADA accessibility ✔ New pavement markings ✔ Traffic signal modernization at key intersections

Traffic Impact: 🚧 Lane closures and restrictions are expected throughout the project, but at least one lane in each direction will remain open. Motorists and pedestrians should use caution or seek alternate routes.
