BenFest Promises Family Fun, Stairway to Heaven
Sad Square Roots is over? Never fear, another festival is here.
A burger cook-off, 3-on-3 basketball tournament and Led Zeppelin tribute band are all happening in Northcenter this weekend.
The annual BenFest is set for Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 2215 W. Irving Park Road. The family-friendly festival benefits the St. Benedict Parish, which serves Northcenter, Lincoln Square and the surrounding area.
This year, festival hosts are also giving away a $10,000 cash prize during a raffle.

Organizers tout more than 5,000 attended the festival last year, according to the event's website.

- Saturday: 1 to 11 p.m.
- Sunday: 1 to 11 p.m.
Admission:
- $7 Adults – before 8:00 PM
- $10 Adults – after 8:00 PM
- $5 Kids (2 and under are free)
- $20 Family Pack for four
