Eat at Roscoe Village Meatheads to Help High School Music Program

If you're craving a burger, Meathead's is giving 10 percent of its sales to the Amundsen High School band today.

Calling all meat lovers and music fans!

Roscoe Village’s newest burger joint is hosting a fundraiser for the Amundsen High School Music Program.

Join members of the band today for an all-day fundraiser at Meatheads in Roscoe Village, 3304 North Western Avenue.

Meatheads is donating 10 percent of the day’s sales to Amundsen. Hungry burger-seekers can print out the flier attached to the article or mention the Amundsen Music Program when ordering. 

The music department is trying to repair and replace old instruments because many are between 30 and 50 years old, Director of Bands Jim Zebrowski said.

More than 30 of the instruments need repairs totaling $100 or more.

There are more than 250 students in the band program at Amundsen. Their most recent performance was at the school’s Homecoming celebration, where they played LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem.”

Meatheads offers the 10 percent fundraiser for school teams, clubs and nonprofits. More information can be found on their website
