
Calling all Chicago chefs in training! Brasserie by C&C, located in Edgewater, will hold a Junior Chefs Cooking Camp the week of June 12-16 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Led by The Frances Xavier Warde School's first grade teacher, Miss Mandi, and Brasserie by C&C's chefs Brad Newman and Jesse Lee, campers will be introduced to the world of cooking and baking while utilizing their science, math and social/emotional skills. Budding chefs will discover new ingredients and emphasize the importance of nutrition, learn how to safely use kitchen tools, explore culinary techniques, organize prep work, and more. Whether your child loves to cook, or is a "picky" eater, this camp will feed their creative outlet, and hunger! Dishes for four will be prepared and sent home for the whole family to enjoy.
