Roscoe Village Bank Robbed by Man in Cubs Hat (PHOTOS)
A white male in his 30s robbed a bank in Roscoe Village Friday, and FBI say they need your help to identify the criminal.
The FBI is looking for a man who robbed a Roscoe Village bank Friday, and authorities may need your help.
The man robbed the First Chicago Bank at 3245 N. Damen Ave. near West School Street at 4:20 p.m., according to the FBI’s Bandit Tracker website. While no weapon was shown during the robbery, Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer John Mirabelli told the Chicago Tribune the man handed a bank teller a note, and then fled with cash.
FBI describe the man as white, believed to be in his 30s, 6 feet tall, wearing a dark pea coat, gray hooded sweatshirt and Chicago Cubs hat covering his face.

There have been 154 bank robberies in Chicago in 2012. That’s compared to just 115 in 2011, with the record year being 2006 with 284 bank robberies.Â
