Snuggle Up: Family Movie Night at Audubon Friday
The free movie at Audubon Elementary is complete with a giant screen, concessions and a place to pile a few blankets.

The weather outside may have dropped to almost freezing temperatures, but inside Audubon Elementary School, it’s the perfect season for a movie.
Roscoe Village Neighbors are sponsoring a fourth annual Family Movie Night at the elementary school on Friday starting at 7 p.m., and the feature film is The Lorax. Located at 3500 N Hoyne Ave., and organizers are making sure it’s just like the movies.
With stars like Taylor Swift and Betty White, Dr. Seuss' The Lorax was just recently released on DVD after it's debut in theaters.

From the giant 9-by-12-foot projection screen to concessions like popcorn, cotton candy and soda, families can watch the movie for a fraction of the cost of a movie theater. The event is free, with snacks costing a small fee.
And because the film will be projected in the school’s gymnasium, neighbors are encouraged to bring big blankets to relax on during the event. Chairs will also be set up toward the back of the gym if moviegoers would rather sit.
“Mark your calendar and join us for this fun-filled event,” the neighborhood reminder reads. “It's sure to be an awesome time!”
Also, Roscoe Village Neighbors could use four volunteers to help sell concessions before the show, and volunteers will still be able to join their families for the film. Email Chris Woods if you’re interested.
