Crestwood Man Repeatedly Punched in the Face: Blotter

Midlothian police reports, March 29-31 • $30 gone after break-in • Air conditioner taken • Stolen $600 bike.

$30 Goes Missing

About $30 in cash was taken from an apartment in the 3300 block of West 147th Street, according to the report. Someone broke a window on a door to the apartment and unlocked a window. The victim said someone went through all his drawers but that only $30 was missing.

Stolen Bike

A $600 bicycle was taken from a house's detached garage in the 14300 block of South Kilbourn Avenue, according to a report. The bike’s told police the burglary happened between March 27 and March 29. Police found no signs of forced entry, the report stated.

Air Conditioner to Go

Someone stolen an air conditioner from a home in the 14600 block of South Abbottsford Road, according to a report. The owner said he found it missing at about 2 p.m.

FRIDAY, MARCH 29

Punches to the Face

Brian C. Smith, 20, of the 14500 block of South Troy Avenue in Posen, was charged with battery, according to a report. He is accused of hitting a 19-year-old Crestwood man repeatedly in the face.
