OF Fire Department Holds Training At Tichan House This Week

OAK FOREST, IL — The smoke you see at the Oak Forest Park District may not be a real fire. The city's fire department is holding training there for its staff through Friday.

The Oak Forest Fire Department's officials said they are conducting fire training at the Tichan house on the Oak Forest Park District campus.

As part of the training, firefighters will simulate a fire in a single-family house so they can practice skills they need, including forcible entry, ventilation and hose-line advancement
