Lost Dogs Found Near Arbor Park School; Help Find Owners

Both dogs were picked up Monday in Oak Forest without ID tags or chips.

OAK FOREST, IL — Two female dogs were found Monday in Oak Forest, and city officials are searching for the owners of the canines. The dogs were caught by Arbor Park School, near 173rd Street and Central Avenue, according to a post on the Facebook page for Friends of Oak Forest Animal Control.

Both dogs were wearing red collars, and one of the animals was equipped with a harness, the volunteer group that helps the city's animal control department stated in its post. Unfortunately, neither dog had identification tags or implanted ID chips, according to the notice, which was published on the page Monday.

Anyone with information about the dogs' owners should contact the Oak Forest Police Department at 708-687-1376.
