'Minor' Gas Leak Started by Construction Crew: OFFD
Oak Forest firefighters were at the scene of a gas leak Tuesday morning for about 20 minutes.

Oak Forest firefighters responded to a "minor gas leak" Tuesday morning, according to officials.
A call came in at about 9:36 a.m. for a report of a construction crew that had hit a gas line the 15400 block of Ridgeland Avenue, according to Oak Forest Fire Chief Terrence Lipinski.
No injuries were reported.
NICOR was notified and arrived about 25 minutes later. Gas company employees were working on the leak at about 10 a.m. Tuesday.
A message left with NICOR was not immediately returned.
