Oak Forest Hiring Part-Time Firefighter/Paramedics

OAK FOREST, IL — The Oak Forest Fire Department is accepting applications for part-time, certified firefighter/licensed paramedics.

Current hourly rate is $20; part-time firefighters/paramedics work 12- or 24-hour shifts.

Qualifications

To qualify for consideration, the applicant must possess the following certifications/licenses AND attach the appropriate paperwork to the application email reply:

• Illinois Certified Basic Operations Firefighter or Firefighter II
• Illinois Licensed Paramedic
• Valid Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) qualification with ladder climb endorsement, within the last 12 months
• Current CPR card
