Oak Forest's Hometown Heroes Program Needs Your Service Members' Names
The City of Oak Forest seeks names of current or former residents who are members of the U.S. Armed Forces.

OAK FOREST, IL β The City of Oak Forest is continuing its effort to honor local members of the United States Armed Forces.
The program uses banners displayed along Cicero Avenue to honor current or former Oak Forest residents, who have served or are currently serving in any branch of the United States Armed Forces.
Each banner includes name, photo, rank, and branch of the military. The double-sided banners cost $75 each and will be displayed on Cicero Avenue for two years from Memorial Day to Veterans Day. Banners will be presented to the applicants after the two-year display period upon request.
