Orland Park Bakery Wins Best Bakery in Patch “Best Of” Poll

Orland Park Bakery is our winner in our Best Bakery poll in Orland Park, Mokena, Frankfort, New Lenox, Tinley Park and Oak Forest.

Orland Park Bakery took 41 percent of the overall vote, winning with 1,284 votes. The race was neck and neck with Fleckenstein’s Bakery in Mokena since Tuesday, when within two days they came from behind and nearly doubled their votes. Fleckenstein’s ended with 1,021 votes or 33 percent of the vote. The lead changed several times all the way until voting was called at 3 p.m. Friday.

The final tally is:

• Orland Park Bakery, 14850 S LaGrange Rd., Orland Park: 1,284, 41%
• Fleckenstein’s Bakery, 19225 LaGrange Rd., Mokena: 1,021, 33%
• Creative Cakes, 16649 Oak Park Ave., Tinley Park, 543, 17%
• Zettlemeier’s Bakerei, 17016 Oak Park Ave., Tinley Park: 222, 7%
• Sweet Dreams, 7956 W Lincoln Hwy., Frankfort: 33, 1%
• Walt’s Foods, 16039 S Harlem Ave., Tinley Park: 24, 1%
