Semi Driver Killed In I-80 Rollover Crash In Hazel Crest: ISP
The crash happened early Tuesday morning at I-80 and Kedzie Avenue.
HAZEL CREST, IL — A semi driver died early Tuesday morning in a single vehicle rollover crash on I-80 in Hazel Crest, Illinois State Police said.
The driver was eastbound on I-80 just after 4:30 a.m., when the semi left the road, careened down an embankment and overturned onto Kedzie Avenue, state police said.
The driver and truck's sole occupant was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity is not yet known.

One lane of I-80 East remained closed as of 10 a.m. Kedzie Avenue in both directions under I-80 is closed while the crash is investigated.
